You need to visit Turkey at least twice for dental implants. On your first visit, surgical dental implant applications are carried out. If the patient has sufficient bone capacity for implant application, the treatment is completed within two visits to Istanbul. If the bone capacity is insufficient, advanced surgical procedures are performed to enhance the bone capacity. In this situation, the treatment may take 3 or 4 visits.
Getting your dental implants in Turkey will allow you to save around 80% compared to America and Western Europe, even though the same materials are used. While the results will be long-lasting with the implants originating from Switzerland, our experienced doctors will also offer you a painless treatment. With the premium quality we offer, it will be a long-lasting investment for yourself at a low cost.
Treatments such as sinus lifting and bone graft may be required before the application of dental implants in patients with osteoporosis and loss in bone tissue. Our dental assistants will provide all the information on our personalized treatment plans. Apart from implant surgery, the treatments that may be required generally will be aimed at increasing the existing bone capacity of patients with insufficient bone capacity so that the implants can be applied.
Bone graft is a treatment method used to reconstruct and support bone tissue when there isn't sufficient capacity or intensity in the jawbone. We generally prefer it for jawbone losses caused by long-term tooth loss, trauma, infection, or periodontal illnesses.
Sufficient bone support is required for the implant to integrate with the jawbone successfully. Therefore, we apply Bone Graft treatment before placing the implants in our patients with bone deficiency. After the Bone Graft is applied, the tissues around the application region ossify, and a strong structure is formed. The existence of sufficient bone capacity around the implants placed is important for the long-term success of implants.
The maxillary sinus floor has a dynamic structure. It tends to expand with time due to internal air pressure, which is called pneumatization. This expansion becomes even more obvious with upper jaw back tooth extractions. Expansion of the maxillary sinuses due to this phenomenon has a negative effect on the placement of implants in the posterior region of the upper jaw. In this case, to apply an implant to the posterior region of the upper jaw, the epithelial tissue covering the maxillary sinus floor, which has a hollow space, is elevated, and bone formation is achieved by placing a bone graft between the elevated epithelial tissue and the maxillary sinus floor. The newly formed bone tissue makes implant placement possible. These surgical procedures are called sinus lifting.
